De belangrijkste eigenschappen van groene thee m.b.t. de huid zijn: hoge anti-oxidatiepotentiaal (radicaalvanger), regeneratie van beschadigde huid (bv. bij zonnebrand, eczeem, acne), adstringerend, desodoriserend, tonificerend.
