Deze olie bevat een hoog gehalte aan essenti\u00eble vetzuren en is bij uitstek geschikt om veroudering van de huid tegen te gaan. Dagelijks gebruik, vanaf een leeftijd van 20 jaar, wordt door diverse bronnen aanbevolen. De olie wordt zeer snel door de huid opgenomen, werkt hydraterend, rimpelwerend, gaat huidveroudering tegen (algemene veroudering en speciaal veroudering door zonlicht), bouwt collageen op, verhoogt de elasticiteit van de huid, herstelt en revitaliseert de huid, zuivert haar, is anti-sclerotisch (gaat ontstaan van huidverhardingen tegen) en beschermt de huid tegen omgevingsfactoren.
